Oh NO! we have those really annoying grape thingies, too! And I talked to a horticulture agent with USU extension and they are really hard to get rid of, because they are bulbs that make baby bulbs really quickly. We have them sporadically through our whole front yard and back yard. The horticulture agent said, "think CONTROL not total eradication, because you're not going to get rid of those easily." We have some growing that aren't even in the dirt--their bulbs are totally exposed! Good luck controlling them...we're not having a very fun time... :)
Melanie, yeah my mom said basically the same thing. I was thinking of letting them grow this year, but they've already spread to the lawn. I think they're going to have to go, and quick!
I want a garden SOOOOOO bad! It is just so hard in AZ. Especially with a landscaping dog : / Thats right...my lab likes to landscape! And not in a good way.
I knew it! It is a bulb flower. You need to wait until it dies back then you can dig it up and move it, remember to divide it and you will have two of them next year.
I'm stopping by from GiveAway Corner. Isn't it nice to see things blooming? I'm just now getting my tulips and Daffodils! I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I love comments! Tell me what you think, ideas you have, I love to hear it all! Thanks for stopping by Home Maid Simple!
