Today is Princess R’s 2nd birthday. I can’t believe she’s already 2, but at the same time it feels like she’s been here longer than 2 years. I was going to get her cake made last night, but the kids fought bedtime pretty bad and we weren’t all in bed until almost midnight. So at some point before dinner tonight I’ll be whipping up a heart shaped cake and frosting it purple, her favorite color. I wanted to do something like this cake but decided I needed to keep it simple.
