Apples. I love apples so much. While most people I see getting excited for pumpkin this fall, I prefer the apple flavor. If it wasn’t apparent with my Candy Apple Cookies, well now it should be. One of my favorite childhood memories was our 1st grade field trip to an Apple Orchard. We picked the apples, we tasted fresh cider, and learned of the many different varieties. At the time I decided my favorite variety was Granny Smiths. Now I prefer them for baking, but for just chomping down on, I like a sweeter variety.
