Last week we said goodbye to long time co-hots Diane from Simple Living and Eating. She’s still blogging, but taking time to write her own cookbook. I debated shutting down all of Weekend Bites, but I sure love this little party we have each week. So I reached out to another friend of mine, Debi from Practical Parenting Ideas.
I met Debi a little over a year ago at church. We somehow got on the topic of blogging, and she asked for me help and tips to get started. I was so excited to share my knowledge of this wonderful world. We spent a good couple hours formatting, google searching, and just hanging out.  Finally Debi kicked off, and has created some pretty amazing posts. One of the great things I love about blogging is it doesn’t matter where you live. Despite me moving, we still chat on facebook, and try to help each other out.
So what will you find at Practical Parenting Ideas? Well just that, Practical Parenting Ideas – from car seat safety, to  yummy kid friendly treats. I’m so excited to have Debi on board with Weekend Bites, and hope you’ll all head over and give her a warm welcome!

  1. Thanks for hosting! I’m sharing Turkey Sloppy Joe sauce— an easy and versatile basic dish you can reinvent any night of the week! I’m also sharing Apple Boatmeal— it makes a great breakfast, mid-afternoon snack, or even a dessert!

  2. Hi Adelina,
I am a little late this week but so glad you are here and glad I made it. Thanks so much for keeping the party going and have a great week.
    Miz Helen
